Oberkante Unterlippe | Schloss Oberhofen im Hochwasser 2021.
Im Juli trat der Thunersee über die Ufer, zum dritten Mal erheblich seit 1999.
Was vielen Anwohner:innen Probleme und Sorgen bereitete, war für mich als Photograph attraktiv, vor allem nachts. Das Bild strahlt eine gespannte Ruhe aus (steigt der Pegel weiter oder sinkt er?), die auf mich sehr ästhetisch wirkt.

In July, Lake Thun burst its banks, for the third time significantly since 1999.
What caused problems and worries for many residents was attractive to me as a photographer, especially at night. The picture exudes a tense calm (does the level continue to rise or does it fall?), Which has a very aesthetic effect on me.

Bellevue au Lac | Im Juli 2021 traten nach vielen Regenfällen einige Schweizer Seen über die Ufer. Auch der Thunersee. Neben mehr oder weniger grossen Schäden eröffneten die Überschwemmungen auch ungewohnte Ansichten - wie hier das Hotel Bellevue in Hilterfingen mit der Spiegelung im überfluteten Fussweg.
Ich musste hier nicht nur über die Mauer zur geeigneten Stelle balancieren, sondern dann auch das Stativ installieren und die Kamera bedienen ohne das Gleichgewicht zu verlieren…

Not only did I have to balance over the wall to a suitable place, but then I also had to install the tripod and operate the camera without losing my balance ...
